【我的妻子就是我】是第一個單人表演形式的作品獲得普里茲劇本獎。1993年，劇作家道格˙萊特到德國訪問劇中真實人物Charlotte von Mahlsdorf，並根據這位元傳奇的跨性人生命經歷故事發展成一個跨越時空、跨越性別、跨國籍的劇作。臺灣版由資深劇場演員邱安忱一人分飾40個腳色，獲台新藝術獎當季最佳表演藝術獎提名，並受邀參加2012華山藝術生活節、2013衛武營藝術節、2013西門紅樓玩藝劇場藝術節以及北京木馬劇場的風馬牛戲劇節。

 

I Am My Own Wife is the first one-man play received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. In 1933, playwright Doug Wright went to Germany, had an interview with Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, and created a play based on life experiences of this man. In the play, besides main character Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, there are more than 40 other characters, alll performed by one single male actor. The Taiwan version of I Am My Own Wife was invited by 2012 Huashan Living Arts Festival in Taipei, 2013 Wei Wu Ying Art Festival in Kaohsiung, and 2013 Apple & Orange Drama Festival in Bejing.
